We’re excited to announce that Thursday, September 17th marks the first meeting of our 2009/2010 Rotaract year. We’ll be meeting in a brand new location, the Ronald McDonald House of New York, located at 405 East 73rd Street, between 1st and York Avenues.

Our first guest speaker is Dr. Larry Parks, who will be presenting “Collapse of the Dollar, Monetary Malfeasance, Resurrection of Gold: Reasserting the Monetary Powers and Disabilities of the Constitution.”

Dr. Parks is the Executive Director of the Foundation of the Advancement of Monetary Education (FAME) and the host of The Larry Parks Show, aired weekly on Time Warner Channel #56 in Manhattan. He has broad experience in academia, in business, and in finance. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Polytechnic University where for many years he was an adjunct professor teaching at the graduate level. His writings have appeared in Pensions & Investments, The Economist, The Washington Times, The Freeman, The Free Market, The United States Congressional Record, National Review, The Labor Studies Journal, The Houston Chronicle, and many popular publications. He is the Author of What Does Mr. Greenspan Really Think? He is an active member of many civic and social organizations, and is a frequent speaker on the fight for honest monetary weights and measures.
