What you need to know before you request a visit through our NYC Rotaract Ambassadors:
- Request your visit at least 3-4 weeks before arriving in New York City.
- A local New York City telephone number with voice mail is necessary
to get in contact upon your visit. - Visitors must be staying within the 5 boroughs of New York City in
order to facilitate meet ups with local Rotaractors.
If you have special needs or interests, a language preference or neighborhoods that you’d like to visit, please tell us. It will help the NYC Rotaract Ambassadors match you with other club members or activities already planned.

Please understand that meet ups with club members are subject to the availability of its members. Submitting a request does not guarantee the availability of members.
You will receive a confirmation to your request via email regarding meet up information.
If we have no club activities or members available for your visit, you will be notified before your visit to New York City. Please understand that sometimes due to holidays, members’ work obligations or busy NYC life we run out of available club members to meet our visitors.

FAQ’s for Rotaract visitors coming to NYC
How can I meet with Rotaract Club at the UN members during my visit to NYC?
Once your plans to visit NYC are confirmed (arrival and departure dates are set, accommodations are confirmed) Fill out and submit via email the VISIT REQUEST FORM at least 4 weeks in advance of your arrival.
Can I meet Rotaractors more than once during my stay?
Since many visitors would like to hang out during peak busy seasons or holidays please submit only one request per visit.
When and how will I receive information about meeting with the Rotaract Club at the UN?
Once we receive your request before you leave home, we will email you with follow up information.
Am I guaranteed to be meet up with members from the Rotaract Club at the UN?
Unfortunately, RCUN receives many more visitor requests than we are able to fill, so sometimes no embers are available for a visitor. During busy times of the year the visit date you ask for may already be filled. You will receive an email from us with our regrets that no one is available for you.
If no RCUN members are available to meet with me, can I contact another Rotaract club?
Yes there are 2 other Rotaract Clubs in NYC: Rotaract Club at Columbia University and Rotaract Club at NYU. We do not facilitate contact between visitors and other clubs so we suggest you contact them directly.
If you contact RCUN to meet up in NYC, you can expect us to:
Invite you to our next RCUN meeting if it’s during your visit. Provide an overview of RCUN, what we do, who we are. Answer questions about your visit to NYC (we are not tour guides but can tell you what we like to do here, good eats, fun happenings). Per your request, we can invite Rotaractors to join you in one of your planned activities during your visit.
